Prayer Reminders

for the month of August, 2008

District Church:  We join with the other churches of the Northwest District as we pray for:

Cle-Elum with Pastors Carroll & Wally Miller. We join them in prayer for: 1) A Spiritual awakening for the church members & friends. 2) God's guidence in relocating church properties.

District Prayer Support    

August 3 Pray for our new NYI President & council. 

August 10 Okanogan Valley with Pastors Michael & Hazel Wilson & Othello with Pastors Bob & Kathy Luhn.

August 17 Northwest Nazarene University & our new President Dr. David Alexander & the start of another school year.

August 24 Quincy with Pastor John & Kathy Hardiman & Rocky Butte with Pastors Dan & Patt Ward.

August 21 Royal City with Pastors Tim & Sena Snyder & Wenatchee with PastorsTom & Melanie Nees.

Pray for the members of our church family currently serving in the military:

Josh & Sam Elliott (Japan), children of Gene and Sheila Cates; Brad Vannattan (USA), son of Van and Sandy Vannattan; Patrick Rasmussen, (Iraq), Rollin and Debie Caryl's son-in-law; Ryan Kelly (Iraq), Oliver and Loeta's grandson; Todd Miller (Germany), Hester Graves grandson, also Mark & Beth Graves (Japan), Virginia Mundell-Ulmer's grandson Rolin Hunsperger (Iraq), David Murphy (USA), Sandy & Van Vannattan's grandson, Randy Sarri, Grandson of Leo & Betty Bliss (Iraq),  Josh Graves (USA), Hester Graves's grandson

• Pray for our Pastoral Team -Pastor Bob and Amy; Pastor Abe and Marian Gonzales.
• Pray for our Church Board.
• Pray for our Vision Team.
• Pray for our Worship leader, musicians, and sound crew.
• Pray for our Church's Finances (2 Cor. 9: 8)-We continue to trust God to supply,through us and seek His blessing that others may be blessed.
• Pray for our New Hope Kid's Worship-Pray for our teachers who work so hard to open us to God's Word.
• Pray for our Youth, and their leaders: Annette Linfor & Corey Raymond.
• Pray for your "HIGH FIVE"!
• Pray for a new sense of unity and purpose for all of us as we follow God's direction.
• Pray for the new Christians.
• Let us pray for a deep hunger to see more of our friends and family come to faith in Jesus.
• Pray for our President and other Government Leaders.

Special Prayer Requests:

• Leo Bliss would like us to pray for Betty's general health.
• Carmen Streiff would like prayer for an unspoken request.
• John Staudinger had a good week! Please continue to pray for him.
• Clarene Walsh wants us to continue to pray for Ed Sr., Ed Jr., & Jim for various health issues. Chandra her granddaughter needs a good job. Also her brother in law Bill Thompson.
• Hester Graves would like us to pray for transportation to help geg people to church/
• Annette Linfor would like your prayers for God's guidence with the youth & praising God for a job.
• Pastor Abe is having some trouble with pain, pray for him this week.
• We are seeing new faces each Sunday, pray for those people who are looking for a church that they will feel welcome and see Jesus in our service.

General Church:

Pray for our missionary families; pray for Warren Neal, missionary to East Timor; David Fraley, missionary to France; Terry and Diane Barker, missionaries to Ethiopia; and Hugh Friberg, missionary to Swaziland.

Corporate prayer is essential for us to be where God wants us to be regarding our building dreams, we have several times we get together to pray.

1) Saturday night at 6pm in the new church office. 2812 Terrace Heights Drive #4

2) Sunday morning at 9:30am in the fellowship hall at the Chapel.

3) Tuesday night at 6:30pm at the church office.
