North District in Quito, Ecuador. The purpose of the annual service is to
unite the churches on the district through worshipping the Lord together.

NMI STANDING REQUESTS

Mexico
Pray for God's peace to reign in the country of Mexico. Pray that people
will be kept safe from violent situations, especially those related to the
drug cartels, and for Christians to be light in areas where darkness lives.

Workers for the Harvest
Scripture tells us in Luke 10:2, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers
are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into
his harvest field." There is a great need for people to hear and respond to
God's call to missions and ministry. Pray with NMI that the Lord will supply
workers for the harvest.

Please pray for the ministry and safety of the general superintendents
traveling this month:

Dr. Jerry Porter

BEREAVEMENT

Family of a CAA Father
Please pray for an international Nazarene worker in a creative access area
as she makes her way to the U.S.A. to attend her father's funeral. The
father passed away on August 22 after battling cancer for the past one and a
half years. Since last week's PML, we received the following testimony about
the worker's father and his final days on earth. When asked about sending
flowers for the memorial service, the worker responded, "I believe that I
speak for the family in saying that we would prefer for the gift to be used
for the furtherance of the Great Commission, expanding the work around the
globe. That is the finest tribute that can be given to a man who was a
wonderful, caring father and who entered the Kingdom by the tremendous grace
of our merciful, ever-loving, ever-patient Father. We are grateful that two
days before his departure from this earth, he made the most important
decision of his life."

Thanks for praying.

PLEASE NOTE: Our offices will be closed on Friday, September 3, in
observance of Labor Day and thus, we will not publish an issue of the Prayer
Mobilization Line (PML) on that day. The next issue of PML will be sent on
Tuesday, September 7, 2010.

 September 1, 2010

Dear Friends & Family,

Thank you for praying for the youth camp!! I talked with Pastor Samuel via
SKYPE just after the camp. There were 110 young people at the camp.
They took a boat across to the outer island of Atauro and used a local
school to have their camp. Many locals attended the evening services.
Many of the locals said they had never experienced anything like this
before. In the past there has been a lot of criticism from the protestant
church on the island but there seemed to be spirit of welcome and many
rejoiced in the spiritual victories won at camp. Several youths were
physically overcome by conviction and demons were cast out of them.

The following is a qoute from Delinda Stafford, our volunteer there after
return from camp. ...."Youth camp was WONDERFUL! God moved in a mighty way
and brought many young people in East Timor to Christ! Thank you for your
prayers, they are greatly appreciated. As always, the battle begins when
you come back from an experience like camp and I've already heard a few
stories. Please pray for those that have accepted Christ, that they will be
able to stand firm in their new belief and continue on the path to
righteousness. It's tough here, many families are very angry that the youth
have become Christians and these are new Christians that don't know much yet
about God's word. We need to back them the best we can with loads of
prayer!"

Please help us pray for the new Christians as well as those who will be
encouraging them in their walk with Jesus.

While I was talking with Pastor Samuel he said that he is still no well. It
is unclear what is his physical condition but I would also like to ask you
to pray for him and for Ully his wife as they are taking on more and more
responsibility and seeing many victories.

Janet & I are making some progress in getting settled in our home in Yukon,
OK and are very busy with deputation services.
